The founder and principle, John Standen studied Valuation and Estate Management at Bristol Polytechnic and has 15 years experience of the London property market. He was initially employed as a professional advisor to Insurance Companies in quantifying and negotiating major building damage claims and these skills of agreeing schedules with contractors provided a platform for property investment. Accordingly John Standen has undertaken many development and refurbishment projects of his own, and his attention to style and detail, ability to anticipate trends, and knowledge of how best to maximise space has resulted in many spectacular finished projects which have attracted a deserved premium. John Standen has also written numerous articles on the topic of property investment and development for various well known property publications.

In the last 10 years this pool of knowledge has been extended to offer a property finding service to clients. Through their network of established contacts Locate Spaces Ltd has been successful in sourcing both residential and commercial properties for private individuals, celebrities, investors, developers, small businesses, and corporations. These searches have taken place in London and parts of the South East and more recently Budapest Hungary.

Locate Spaces currently operates from offices in Wimbledon and South Kensington, London, though we normally initially visit clients at their convenience, and in their preferred location.
